Verhoging in bydraes vanaf 1 Januarie 2025

Assalaamu Alaykum aan al ons gewaardeerde Kiefayt Klops Lede.

Dit spyt ons om u mee te deel die maandelikse bydraes sal vanaf 1 Januarie 2025 van R60 p.m na R70 p.m verhoog vir die Standaard- en Senior Silwer-planne. Die Senior Goue Plan (volle voordele vir lede ouer as 64) sal vanaf R120 na R140 p.m verhoog.

Dit sal slegs ons tweede verhoging wees sedert die Society in 2015 gestig was. Die laaste verhoging was in Januarie 2020 van R50 tot R60 p.m.

Met die totstandkoming van die Society in Mei 2015, was die totale Janaazah koste R2,000 maar het sedertdien met 200% na R6,000 gestyg. Behalwe die R6,000 wat die Society ten volle dek, sal ‘n genomineerde begunstigde ook R1,000 kontant ontvang op die dag van die Janaazah om die totale uitbetaling op R7,000 te bring. Teen R70 p.m sal dit 17 jaar neem om R14,000 (R7,000 x 2) vir ‘n paartjie te spaar.

Ons glo ons diens bly ’n bekostigbare en halaal opsie teen R70 per gesin (wat insluit enige aantal kinders tot ouderdom 20) en ons sal ons bes doen om bydraes vir die volgende 5 jaar op R70 p.m te hou, In Shaa Allah.

Lede wat met ‘n herhalende betaling van hul banking app betaal moet onthou om die bedrag aan te pas voor Januarie 2025 aangesien Januarie se betaling teen 7 Januarie betaalbaar is.

Increase in contributions from 1 January 2025

Assalaamu Alaykum to all our valued Burial Society Members.

We regret to inform you the monthly contributions will increase from R60 p.m to R70 p.m for the Standard and Senior Silver Plans from 1 Jan 2025. The Senior Gold Plan (full benefits for members older than 64) will increase from R120 to R140 p.m.

This will only be our second increase since the Society was formed in 2015, with the last increase in January 2020 from R50 to R60 p.m.

When we started off in May 2015, total burial costs amounted to R2,000 but has since increased to R6,000, a 200% increase. In addition to the R6,000 which the Society covers in full, a nominated beneficiary will also receive R1,000 cash on the day of the Janaazah to bring the total payout to R7,000.
At R70 p.m it will take 17 years to save up R14,000 (R7,000 x 2) for a couple.

We believe our service remains an affordable and halaal option at R70 per family (including any number of children up to age 20) and we’ll endeavor to keep contributions at R70 p.m for the next 5 years, In Shaa Allah.

Members paying via a recurring payment from their banking app should amend the amount before January 2025 as January’s payment is due before or on 7 January 2025.
